"Reminders to forgive oneself hit hard as I embraced each individual part of me... I wept into the Earth as she held me, nourished me, witnessed me releasing the anger, the hurt, the guilt, the disappointments, the frustration. I was reunited with loved ones that have passed, each one reminding me of past hopes, dreams, and visions that have started to become my current reality. I was reminded that my efforts have not gone unnoticed and the visions I've had before will come to fruition soon. Changes are upon us.

Throughout my time on the property over the weekend, I had felt the most connected to my deceased loved ones than I have in a very long time (also lost my husband almost 10 years ago).

I want to thank Adina, Chaz, Tom, Aaron, and Tim for creating a safe container and guiding us all through the process. Thank you to Jeff and Laurie for providing such a beautiful space to participate in such a life changing experience. Thank you to all the other staff, volunteers, and participants who made this one hell of a journey. I look forward to many more." -C.C.

" My first theta portal. I felt like I was a part of a big family.  It felt like everything was done to make me feel special, which I am convinced is true!  That feeling started at check-in with smiles of welcoming, followed up with the spiritual cleansing offered and performed with such care and presence by Azaria.  As I entered the main room through Cindy’s magnificent portal, I felt such warm energy buzzing about everyone. Volunteers and coordinators were sweetly attending to everyone’s questions and needs while 70 of us set up our palettes with creature comforts we brought from home.  

The facilitator’s explanations and interpretations gave me appropriate expectations as well as set a tone of genuine care and protection for all. This made me feel incredibly safe and I believe, allowed me to be even braver in my journey as I approached and passed through moments of fear.   

I have experience with Hatha yoga breathwork, shamanic journeys, meditations  and soundbaths.  Theta Portal held elements of each and took me to another level of inner work for which I am so grateful.  Just by following Aaron’s calming directions on how to control and maintain my breathing, combined with Adina’s soothing meditation, Tom’s roving didgeridoo and singing bowls and Chaz’s intuitively-synced sound landscape, I entered and sustained an altered state. In this energy I had prophetic and whimsical visions; went through somatic movements of trauma release;  gained insights on how to manage obstacles of my past and future, and felt an overwhelming sense of love and nurturing from the universe.   That is a lot. 

Friends who had been to previous Theta Portals have shared that it was life-altering.  Time will tell for me.  But I can say that everyone near me had a powerful and unique experience. We bonded as a group and as individuals by sharing vulnerabilities and offering loving support.  For me personally,  I feel more capable and curious about my life than I did this morning. I believe the gifts I received will make my life easier to navigate and my future richer to experience.  I feel fortunate to have set time aside tonight and tomorrow to be kind to myself and to process through drawing and writing at home and being still in nature near some big trees.   I am choosing to follow the Theta Portal momentum by doing it with joy and attention.  The experience isn’t over yet, as there is so much to re-experience and integrate into my daily life. " -J.D.

"Have you ever had one of those experiences that are hard to explain because you know that what just happened was beyond words? When I came to Theta Portal I felt like I was ready to have another breakthrough that would change me again and unlock more spaces that needed to be seen. I had no idea what I might find in the deep seeded trauma held so tightly behind the walls of safety I had created for myself.

Breathwork changed my life in ways I had been asking for but not been willing to face on my own. Subconsciously, we know what we need but often block those pathways because we live in a world where we are taught to stuff our feelings and don’t get to live in our truth. Sometimes, we need to scream and release our sorrows. The confines of the city won’t allow you to express this form of hurt or hold space for things to properly come to surface. 

The container at Theta Portal allowed years of pain to emerge in a safe non-judgmental place. Staff were there to care for me at just the right moments and I always felt loved.  Vibrationally, I shook out trauma that had been stuck from every cell in my body. The most beautiful warm feeling that I can explain came over me after releasing. It was my own light and love shining through.  My true beautiful self is no longer tied to the dark gunk that I collected along the years. Tears of joy and gratitude for this experience. I left this space a different person then when I came in.

If you are wanting to connect with yourself on a deeper level. If you are wanting to heal in ways you never have before then breathwork will take you there. I hope everyone explores this tool at some point in their life and Theta Portal is a wonderful place to do it." -R.H.
